Volunteer Opportunities at Lippman for 2006/2007
The Lippman Family works closely together to create a rich educational experience for
our children. Please review the areas in which you can get involved.
Then download the volunteer form
and let us know your areas of interest and special talent.
- Holiday Celebrations: We celebrate many holidays
throughout the year with the children. We need volunteer help with items such as:
cooking, place-setting, serving, home-room help, craft making, shopping.
- Scholastic Book Club: Each month we send
home book ideas from the Scholastic Book Club. We need volunteer help with items such as:
accounting, collating order forms, collecting & distributing orders.
- Annual Book Fair: Each year we host a Book Fair
for the children. We need volunteer help with items such as: set-up, check-out and tear down.
- School Play: Each year we put on a school-wide play
and celebration dinner.
We need volunteer help with items such as: sewing & shopping for costumes, props,
cooking, place-setting, serving.
- Fund-raising Projects: We participate in ongoing
fund-raising initiatives as well as seasonal drives. We need volunteer help with items
such as: accounting, announcements, selling, collating order forms, collecting & distributing orders.

- Field Trips: At least once a month we take our
children on a special field trip outing. We need volunteer help with items such as:
driving, supervision and home-room help.
- Auction Project: Each year we host a community-wide
auction. This is the most significant fund-raiser of the year.
We need volunteer help in the classroom to design and create a project to donate to the auction.

- Administration & Classroom Support: Our teachers and
staff will always welcome an extra hand. We need volunteer help with items such as:
photo-copying, collating, lunch serving, craft-making, supervision and home-room help.
