School Hours & Transportation at Lippman
The school office is open and staffed daily from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
Students may arrive as early as 8:00 a.m.
Elementary school hours are 8:40 a.m. until 3:55 p.m. Classes begin promptly at
8:40 a.m. and we request that students arrive in a timely manner.
Students arriving after 8:40 a.m. will be considered tardy and must come into
the office with a parent / guardian to sign them in and receive an admission slip for class.
Middle school hours are 8:30 a.m. until 3:55 p.m. Classes begin promptly at 8:30
and we request that students arrive prepared in their classroom no later than 8:30.

In the morning, parents may walk their children into the building (after parking in the Shaw JCC lot) or drop children off in the front of the school and follow the turn around procedure described on the downloadable carpool map below. At dismissal all cars must follow the designated traffic pattern as illustrated on the carpool diagram. There will be no parking in front of the school at anytime. If you need to come into the school, you must use the parking lot in the front of the Shaw JCC.
Pick up is at 3:55 p.m. except on early Shabbat dismissal days - Fridays, Nov. 3, 2006 -
Feb. 23, 2007, when dismissal is 2:55 p.m. Please check the calendar for other early
dismissal days, as well as half and full days off. Watch the Gesher for bus transportation
information on any early dismissal days.
Children who are not picked up by 4:10 will be sent to the Shaw JCC after school care program (KidSpace). You will be charged for this service.
To make arrangements for your child(ren) to participate in this program, please review
the links below or call the Shaw JCC at 330-867-7850.
Area school buses are available for transportation as follows:
- Akron: morning & afternoon pick-up
- Copley: morning and afternoon pick-up (Note: children board 2 different buses in morning before it reaches Lippman)
- Revere: afternoon pick-up only beginning Tuesday, August 29.
- Canton: morning & afternoon pick-up beginning Monday, August 28.
