- Iowa Testing Programs
- Lippman chooses not to overemphasize standardized testing so that we do not fall into
the trap of "teaching to a test." At the same time, we choose to utilize the
Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS) to: a) enhance educators' ability to
estimate and affirm the students' areas of greatest and least development
in order to adapt materials and instructional procedures to meet individual needs;
b) monitor year-to-year developmental changes and progress of Lippman as a whole; and c)
provide a basis for reports to parents enhancing our ability to work together in the
students' best interest.

- Zoom School
- An online elementary school classroom with lessons in geography, biology, language arts, and early childhood activities.
- School House Rock
- A site that combines pop music with information kids need to learn.
Kids sing along to favorites like "Conjunction Junction, What's Your Function?" and "Interplanet Janet" -- and in the process learn
about everything from how a bill becomes a law to how the body's circulatory system works.
Categories include: America Rock, Grammar Rock, Multiplication Rock, and Science Rock.

- Bookhive
- A website designed for children ages birth through twelve, their parents and teachers.
Providing reader's advisory service, this site contains hundreds of recommended book reviews in a variety of reading levels and interest areas.
Parents may find special "parental notes" attached to some reviews that provide additional information about the book.
Users can search for books by author, title, reading level, interest area, number of pages, and even favorite illustrator.
- Family Fun Magazine
- The Family Fun Magazine website, is about all the great things families can do together.
They provide family experts on travel, food, crafts, parties, holidays, games,
activities, and products -- all the essentials that enrich the important time parents
and children share.
- Surfing the Net with Kids
- Website offers parents educational family activities to help children ages five to
twelve become strong readers, good students, and responsible citizens.
Includes materials adapted just for parents from publicatons created by the
US Department of Education.
- Scholastic I Spy Games
- I SPY, created by Jean Marzollo and Walter Wick, is an award-winning series of books,
software, jigsaw puzzles, and games for elementary age children. I SPY combines
intriguing photographs of familiar object collections with rich rhyming riddles
to create visual brain-teasing puzzles that kids can't resist.
Each time kids play I SPY, they discover clever object associations, word play,
and themes which help them build important learning skills including
reading, problem solving, and creativity.

- Always Play Fair
- The Always Play Fair online board game for elementary age children is an
