Akron's Orthodox congregation, established in 1915, provides spiritual warmth and congenial
fellowship for its members and constituent affiliates. These qualities are evident in our
many religious, cultural and social events, as well as Adult education and family dinners
centered around Holiday themes. Minyanim are held Sunday, Monday and Thursday
mornings and all evenings, as well as Shabbat and Holidays.
Anshe Sfard has an active Women's Chavurah Sisterhood, gift shop and men's club.
Education is provided for our children through our Talmud Torah Sunday School,
