LDS Transition Project

The Board of Trustees of the Jerome Lippman Jewish Community Day School (LDS) made the decision to engage in a year-long transition process to expand its curriculum and philosophies to prepare students in kindergarten through eighth grade to be engaged, thoughtful and well-informed world citizens, who are prepared to succeed and lead in a global society. Educational Consultants Barb Greene and Katie Wells Goodwin were hired by the Lippman Board to facilitate a transition planning process that began in May 2009 and is slated to conclude in November 2009 with the presentation of a recommended transition plan. Some curriculum and experiential enhancements will begin during the current school year. The full transition to the new school model will take effect in the 2009-2010 school year.

LDS will continue to inform families and the community regarding these changes. Check the website for updates. Should you have any questions, concerns, want more information or want to get involved, please contact Linda Brotsky (principal) by email at lbrotsky@lippmandayschool.org or by phone at extension 401 or any member of the Board.
