In the Kindergarten program, parents, teachers and children are partners in learning and discovery. Young children share their experiences and knowledge in the classroom. They are filled with natural curiosity, an innocent sense of wonder, and joyful exuberance. These are the foundations for learning.
We believe that by fostering a positive social environment and providing successful experiences, our children will maintain a positive self-image and continue to build a love of learning. Education is defined as discovery, and learning is supported in all curricular areas as children are encouraged to think creatively, solve problems, make decisions, and expand their critical-thinking skills along their journey of becoming independent thinkers.
The children have many opportunities to enjoy Library/Computer, Science, Art, Music, and Physical Education (gross motor) activities within our classroom, but they also have weekly instruction in these areas by specialists.
